Every story has a beginning.
Story Maker's beginning started just four short years ago in Marina Del Rey, CA. There she raced in many of the weekly beer can regattas and local bay races until her owner decided to throw in the towel and got a nice (very nice) day sailor.
After meeting all of her new owner's (me) requirements (standing head room, wheel, head, racer/cruiser, and easy deck layout) she ventured north to SF Bay. It only took 58 hours straight up the coast to get her under the Golden Gate. Luckily, she enjoyed calm to moderate seas and a very relaxing trip (except for those pesky crab traps off of pacifica).
She is now sitting comfortably in Alameda, CA where she will enjoy racing in the weekly beer cans and also some of the local Bay and Coastal races. Only time will tell if her 87 Rating is a good one!
